Familiar: The character gains the ability to summon up a Familiar as a Wizard or Sorcerer. The familiar must be one that is appropriate to his deity.
Arcane School: The character is granted the ability to cast spells from a single arcane school of magic. This school is chosen when the character chooses the prestige class and can never change. These spells are available to the priest when he prays for his daily spells as if they were on his normal spell list. The extra spells come from the Sorcerer/Wizard spell list.
Spells Per Day: Each time the Arcanis advances a level, the character's spell ability advances as if he had gained a level in his spell casting class. No other benefits of the original class are gained. This advancement represents the character's continued connection to Divine forces.
