Jagenash is ancient even by the standards of his long lived race.  Ancient records exist that mention Jagenash as far back as 5000 years ago.  No one knows for sure just how old he is but he ascended to leadership of all Dragonkind during the Dragon Wars.  Before their disappearance, even the Metallic dragons deferred to his rule.  He rules from his volcanic cavern complex deep in the heart of the Dragonspine Mountains.  No mortal has seen his treasure hoard and lived to tell the tale but commonly accepted lore is that his wealth spans miles of cavern floor.
