Morvik is a mystery to most people. He first appeared 20 years ago at a small logging community in the north and ordered them to leave. When the loggers continued to cut the forest down, Morvik descended upon them with a tribe of goblins backed by bears, boars, wolves, and other animals of the wild. The goblin tribe that participated was later wiped out by the armies of a local lord but Morvik was nowhere to be found.
5 years later, he reappeared in Kashagar when a tribe of rampaging Gnolls threatened to destroy the inhabitants of a riverside fishing village. Morvik commanded lightening from the skies and raised elementals to defend this village. Locals had never seen the diminutive goblin before but were glad that he was nearby when the attack started.
Recently, Morvik has been seen as far away as Raven's Bluff leading raiding parties against those who would destroy the wild lands. Morvik has earned the reputation of being a fanatical defender of the wild. His ascension to membership within The 9 four years ago has been a source of controversy to outside rulers. They consider Morvik to be an outlaw.
Morvik is the most well traveled member of The 9 and he often has adventuring druids join up with him for short trips. When The 9 need to send an emissary to enforce their will, it is Morvik who goes. This little goblin seems to delight in the harsher side of nature. While traveling he can often be found in the company of savage beasts, often taking the shape of one of their members to "hunt" with them.
